Sab Koh is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in Singapore. Her art practice is deeply rooted in the exploration of unconventional spaces and the narratives they inspire among people, culminating in a state of transition and transformation. In her current research, Sab delves into the intersectionality between performance art and a nation’s development and ideals, with the potential to disrupt existing narratives and dream of a more inclusive society. Her work encourages audiences and spectators to immerse themselves in personal histories, confessions, contemplations and the complexities of lived experiences.

Sab's works have been presented at international and local platforms, including the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (Thailand), Undisclosed Territory (Solo, Indonesia) and Performer Stammtisch (Berlin, Germany). In Singapore, she has performed at the Singapore Art Museum, Esplanade - Theatres by the Bay, and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). She is also the co-founder of dblspce, a Singapore-based incubator dedicated to nurturing artistic practices through interdisciplinary engagement and exchanges.

Collaboration is intrinsic to Sab's projects and performances, which significantly influences her teaching philosophy. As an established educator, she firmly believes that the early stages of a creative career are both delicate and brim with transformative potential. Through collaborative efforts, Sab nurtures the personal and professional interests of her students, providing entry points for them to reposition, reflect, and imagine new contexts for society and the world. Her current role as Associate Dean (School of Fine Art) at NAFA underscores her commitment to arts education.
